Care Homes Entertainer

I have been singing professionally for 20 years.
I also sing in Nursing Homes, Sheltered Housing, Retirement villages, Residential Care Homes, Day Centres, Wellbeing cafe’s,  Disabled Care Homes, Hospitals, performing for both young and old alike.

My shows are fun and exciting with musical instruments for the residents to play and join in the fun. I thoroughly enjoy performing which always comes across in my  shows, I sing many different styles of music and can accommodate all ages.

I have experience working with people who are terminally ill and those that have Alzheimer's, dementia, and severe physical handicaps and learning disabilities as I have worked in the care industry myself as a Carer.

I love to get the residents to join in and sing along and dance if able, to boost their moral.

I have performed in many care homes in and around the  country  and  I am  also recommended by www.carehome.co.uk.

Generally the shows are 1 hr in length but can be longer if requested. I am based in Halifax West  Yorkshire, most of the care home shows are during the day but can be adaptable to early evenings Monday-Friday if required.

I can also do a 1940s Tribute show with WW2 Army and RAF Uniforms on request.

Enquiries please call Julieanna on HALIFAX 01422 247850 or 07588424431

Review of singalong with julieanna 1930's to present day  by Karen Vincent (Assistant Manager)

Would highly recommend Julieanna, our residents, staff and family love her. Julieanna has the voice of an angel, she always interacts with our clients encouraging them to sing and dance ensuring that our residents have the best possible time. Her dresses are very glamorous and dazzle us all away. We cannot wait til next time.

Julieanna has visited us at Tea Cosy Memory Cafe many times.

She has a rapport with audiences of all ages and engages well with all those with varying issues.

She has a fantastic range of songs to entertain, and has the ability to involve everyone.

Usually with any entertainment it takes time for the audience to be involved, with Julie it is within seconds.

Julie-Anna is amazing ! She has beautifully sung for Dementia Friendly Todmorden on several occasions where she has brought happiness, joy and memory recall to many people who live with Dementia to which I and the volunteers of Dementia Friendly Todmorden are very grateful, a fantastic voice for all to appreciate thank you !!! Review of singalong with julieanna 1930's to present day by  Laura Walkden (Occupational Therapist) The Priory Hospital Keighley

Julieanna sang to our dementia ward in the hospital and we found is so beneficial to them! Patients that do not usually engage or speak came out of their shell and Julieanna had them singing along and concentrating! Her voice is incredible, especially her opera!

We hope to have Julieanna once a month- definitely recommend!

Julieanna has performed for us in our care home in Pudsey for three times now, the residents love her, she is very professional, very friendly to the residents and always includes them in her songs , we celebrated St George's day last week and Julieanna came in full costume and brought hats and instruments so that the residents could be involved with the performance. We will be definitely booking her again for our next celebration.

We had the absolute pleasure of having julieanna sing for us today for our Good Friday gathering. Julieanna was not only an engaging and very talented vocalist but brought the room to life. Would highly recommend anyone who is after quality as well as value for money. I will definitely book again. Thank you.
